02

Find the right frame

03

Ready for what’s next

Preview the result and download a PNG, JPG or WebP. Use PNG or WebP for transparent corners.

About Water drop Image Cropper.

An image cropper with room to create

Frame a photo, prepare a profile picture or make a thumbnail in your browser. Choose from 15 shapes, fixed aspect ratios and custom pixel dimensions.

Precise control, familiar formats

Rotate, flip and zoom your image, undo recent changes and use social or wallpaper presets. Download PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG and WebP preserve transparent shape corners; JPG uses your selected background color.

Local by design

Open PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and self-contained SVG images when your browser can decode them. Animated inputs become a still image. The cropper does not upload your images. Exports support up to 16,384 pixels per side and 40 megapixels, subject to your device’s memory.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Good questions. Simple answers.

A few helpful answers before you get started.

Do I need an account?

No. The image cropper is available to everyone without signing in.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Opening, editing and exporting your image happens locally in your browser.

Can I use the cropper offline?

Yes. Open the tool once while online and allow the page to finish loading. Keep the page available or revisit its saved address in the same browser. Google sign-in and ads need a connection.

How do I keep a transparent background?

Choose PNG or WebP in Crop & Export. JPG fills transparent areas with the background color you select.
