Precise control, familiar formats

Rotate, flip and zoom your image, undo recent changes and use social or wallpaper presets. Download PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG and WebP preserve transparent shape corners; JPG uses your selected background color.

Local by design

Open PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and self-contained SVG images when your browser can decode them. Animated inputs become a still image. The cropper does not upload your images. Exports support up to 16,384 pixels per side and 40 megapixels, subject to your device’s memory.

Do I need an account?

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Opening, editing and exporting your image happens locally in your browser.

Can I use the cropper offline?

Yes. Open the tool once while online and allow the page to finish loading. Keep the page available or revisit its saved address in the same browser. Google sign-in and ads need a connection.

How do I keep a transparent background?

Choose PNG or WebP in Crop & Export. JPG fills transparent areas with the background color you select.
