Image Transparency Trimmer

Trim transparent image edges using an alpha threshold and optional padding. Processing runs on your device. Your source image is not replaced.

Preview and export

The preview uses a smaller copy for responsive adjustments. Download renders the effect again at the original dimensions, including the selected size changes. PNG and WebP support transparent areas; JPG uses your selected background color. Animated inputs are treated as a still image.

What the tool does

Pixels at or below the selected alpha threshold define the removable transparent border. Opaque background colors are not automatically removed.

Local limits

Images up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels are supported. Expanded output is limited to 40 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side to stay within browser canvas limits.
