Helium Voice Changer in your browser

Create a bright, high-pitched helium-style voice effect from audio or a microphone clip. Preview and download the processed WAV. These pitch-based effects use a shared local audio engine, with a different default preset on each voice page. Pitch adjustment preserves the clip duration and can be fine-tuned in semitones. The character of the result depends on the original recording.

Upload and microphone recording

Choose a browser-supported audio format such as WAV, MP3 or M4A. Browser codec support varies. Files are limited to 100 MB, five minutes and mono or stereo audio. Microphone recordings are limited to two minutes and start only after you click Start recording and grant permission. A microphone needs HTTPS or localhost and a compatible browser. Recording stops when the page is hidden or closed.

Preview and WAV download

Listen to the original and processed versions using the audio controls. Applying an effect creates a new local WAV preview; changing the settings requires applying the effect again. WAV output uses 16-bit PCM at the decoded source sample rate, with the original number of channels. The original file remains unchanged. No audio is uploaded to a server.

Is my audio uploaded?

No. Audio decoding, pitch processing, preview and WAV export run on your device.

Does the effect change the clip length?

Pitch is processed while preserving the decoded clip duration. Monster, Male, Female, Chipmunk and Helium use different pitch presets, which can be adjusted.

When does the microphone start?

Only after Start recording and browser permission. Recording stops when you stop it, hide the page, leave the tool or reach two minutes.

What can I upload and download?

Choose browser-supported audio such as WAV, MP3 or M4A, up to 100 MB and five minutes in mono or stereo. Export is a 16-bit PCM WAV file.
