6-Digit Share

Share multiple files with a six-character hexadecimal code. View every file, download individually or as a ZIP, and set an access limit or optional password.

The access period starts when uploading finishes. Expiry closes public access; only the administrator can delete stored files.

A useful tool is worth sharing.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. Ready for what’s next.

01

Upload your files

Choose multiple files and upload them to this server. Choose one-view, 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day access and an optional password. Uploading creates a unique six-character code.

02

Share the code or link

Send the code or copy the collection link. Recipients enter the code and the password if one was set. No account is required.

03

Open and download

Enter the code to download individual files or the complete ZIP. Downloads remain available within your selected access limit. Stored files are removed only by the administrator.

About 6-Digit Share.

Share files with a short code

6-Digit Share stores uploaded files on this website’s server and creates a six-character hexadecimal code using 0–9 and A–F. The code opens the complete collection; users can download one file or a ZIP containing all available files.

Access limits without automatic deletion

Choose one successful opening, 24 hours, 7 days or one month (30 days). One-view collections allow the recipient to download all files during that opening’s session and last up to 30 days if unopened. Optional passwords are stored as salted hashes. When a limit is reached, public access ends but the files remain on the server. The administrator can move a collection or an individual file to the Recycle Bin, which hides it from public downloads. Restoring makes it available again. Permanent deletion from the Recycle Bin removes the stored file data.

Uploads and downloads

Uploads are sent in small resumable chunks. Keep the page and source files available to resume a paused upload. File and combined upload limits reflect the server’s configured capacity. Share the code only with the people who should be able to download the files.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Good questions. Simple answers.

A few helpful answers before you get started.

What happens when access expires?

The public link stops opening or downloading files when its selected limit is reached. Stored files are not automatically deleted. Only the administrator can recycle or permanently delete them.

Can I add a password?

Yes. Enable password protection before uploading and enter a password of 4–128 characters. Recipients need both the code and password.

Is the code numeric only?

The code has six hexadecimal characters: 0–9 and A–F. Letter case does not matter.

Can I download every file?

Yes. Open the code to see the available files, then download them individually or together as a ZIP.

Can deleted files be restored?

The administrator can restore items from the Recycle Bin. Permanent deletion from that bin also removes the stored files and cannot be undone.
