The locally hosted FFmpeg WebAssembly engine decodes audio and video, and exports actual MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, M4A, WMA and Opus files. The first audio stream is used; video is excluded from the download. Audio To Base64 preserves file bytes as text instead.
Preview is a decoded WAV so formats unsupported by the browser audio player can still be reviewed. The download retains the selected encoded format. Converting lossy audio cannot restore quality that was removed earlier.
Files up to 100 MB and ten minutes of mono or stereo audio are supported. The local engine loads on first use. Large inputs can require substantial memory; cancel and choose a shorter recording if necessary.
